We Succeeded!!!!

On Day One, teachers were given the "...unction to function..." in this technological era. For some of us, the information was already familiar; but for others, it was a totally new experience. We were puzzled and challenged by some of the ICT tools introduced to us.

We were exposed to using spreadsheets to record our grades. Later in the day, we all became film makers as we applied skills taught to create movies using Windows Live Movie Maker. Following on the heels of that, we became bloggers as we were set into groups to create blogs. Since this is our first post, at the close of Day Two, says a lot...we encountered problems since none of the members of this group blogged before. After a night robbed of some sleep as we tried to figure it out, we returned determined to complete our assignment without the help of the facilitators, although they were ready to give us more assistance. 

After much deliberations and trial and error, we were successful. As teachers, we felt a bit of the frustration students are faced with when they are challenged to complete given tasks.
